Happy Friday and thanks for visiting. It has been another week and I am still recovering from my surgery and really behind! I do apologize and thank you for your patience and prayers. This week I got to choose the theme for our Fabulous Friday projects over on the Sisters in Stamping blog and in honor of May being National Scrapbooking month I asked everyone to create a scrapbook page - either traditional, with Project Life or My Digital Studio. I chose to go with My Digital Studio only because it is a retiring product (which makes me very sad) and I have been working on a book from the Alaska cruise that I went on several years ago and needed to get it done and submitted for printing before the end of this month. Nothing like a deadline to get my butt in gear! Here is a two-page spread from our visit to Pike Place Market in Seattle prior to the departure of the cruise ship.
When I created my book, I designed two layouts that I repeated throughout the entire book and it made it so easy to drop my photos in... and you know I love easy-peasey!! I took sooo many pictures on that trip, which was the last Stampin' Up! incentive trip that I earned, and it was great to get many of them into my book. The above is the left page of my two-page spread... I added a text box for my title and several photo boxes along with a text box in the bottom corner for journaling.
And here is the right page of the two-page spread - room for LOTS of photos!! If you've never taken a visit to Seattle I highly recommend it - what a beautiful city! And if you haven't had a chance to work with My Digital Studio I really recommend it, too.
For even more scrapbooking ideas and inspiration with our Stampin' Up! products, please be sure to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog later this afternoon. And don't miss out on those retiring items.. If you'd like to purchase any please hop over to my Stampin' Up! store and place your online order using Hostess Code BKDCQRG4. That way you'll have the best chance of getting your items before they are sold out... the exception is our stamp sets which are guaranteed through May 26th. After that date they will be on an "as available" basis just like the rest of the retiring products.
* Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful rest of your day *
