Hello and Happy Monday (whoops, I forgot to publish this post yesterday)! This week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are featuring Easter cards since it is coming up in a few week. I CASE'd my cards from earlier this month when I used the Plus Sheet One Sheet Wonder , just changing up the colors to a softer palette. Check out that post here for more information about that technique.
Above are images and links to the products that I used for today's project. To find out more about these items or to place an online order, please click on any image to hop over to my online Stampin' Up! store (don't forget to use Host Code NK4X4VC3* with your online order at checkout through March 30th).
I started with a sheet of basic white card stock cut to 9-3/4" x 7" (removing a 1-1/2" strip from each side). And here is what those panels look like when you cut the stamped sheet into 4 panels (4-3/4" x 3-1/2"). You can rotate them around however you think it looks best and add a sentiment... super easy! Colors of ink used include all of the soon to be retiring 2021-2023 In Colors (Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen) along with Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo.
Here are the two cards that I made into portrait-style cards. I mixed and matched the pieces on each card, making it super easy. Great tip - cut out the ovals using the punch on the middle layer of card stock for the mat - it is hidden between the card base and the stamped panel. That way you have lots of scalloped oval pieces to use with your sentiments. I also stamped the butterfly from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set with Balmy Blue ink and fussy cut them to pop up on each. The Easter Blessings sentiment was inked with Evening Evergreen ink.
And here are the two cards I made in Landscape mode. For even more Easter card ideas and inspiration, be sure to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out what Karla and Rachel created this week. Happy stamping!!
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous week!
