Hello and Happy Tuesday! There are two new blog challenges that I used to create my friendship card for today - Just Add Ink's sketch #642 and the color Yellow from Cookie Challenge #178.
These blogs provide great inspiration and I combined the two for my card today. Check them out using the links below each photo.
I really love the Hues of Happiness DSP and haven't used it in a while... with Spring upon us here in Central Virginia, I thought it was a great time to pull it out to use for this card. I like the sketch - it's simple and the strip of DSP adds so much to this card! The yellow card stock that I used is Daffodil Delight and I paired it with Granny Apple Green, both of which (along with Melon Mambo) are found in the Brights color collection.
Above are images and links to the products that I used for today's project. To find out more about these items or to place an online order, please click on any image to hop over to my online Stampin' Up! store (don't forget to use Host Code NK4X4VC3* with your online order at checkout through March 30th).
Here you can see the rhinestones that I added for some extra bling. The flower and leaves in the panel are cut from another pattern from this DSP and layered with dimensionals. I added the word friend from the Happiness Abounds stamp set with Melon Mambo ink. So easy!
For the inside of the card I simply added a skinny strip of the DSP and stamped the sentiment with Melon Mambo ink.
Here is one more view of my card. Thanks for visiting and happy stamping!

We all need a friend like you sending us beautiful cards like this! I love the brightness of it, and that these flowers last forever :) Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.
