Hello and Happy Sunday! This week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are sharing Valentine's Day cards. I am definitely a dog-person and allergic to cats, but fell in love with the Love Cats set as soon as I saw it in the Spring mini catalog and it was definitely on my preorder! This is the third card in my series this week as I have been sharing the ones I'm making for my kids (see the others FMS570 here and TCH56 here). Yes, they're all in their 20's but in my heart they're all still little and needing some love and chocolates on Valentine's Day along with a cute card.
Above are images and links to the products that I used for today's project. Don't forget that now through February 28th you can earn exclusive Sale-a-Bration items with a qualifying $50 or $100 merchandise order. To find out more about these items or to place an online order, please click on any image to hop over to my online Stampin' Up! store (don't forget to use Host Code AWMYZTC4 with your online order at checkout through January 30th).
This is a very simple card layout and uses just a strip of the pretty Polished Pink DSP. I cut the basic white panel just large enough to fit the kitty cat image and the sentiment. It needed a little something extra so I added a simple bow using the white crinkle seam binding ribbon.
Here is a close-up of the stamped panel. I inked the cat with Early Espresso ink and stamped the sentiment with Polished Pink ink. The heart was colored in with a Sweet Sorbet stampin' write marker.
For the inside of the card, I added a skinny strip of the DSP and the upside down kitty image, cut out with my retired 2" circle punch. Simple, but just as fun inside as on the front of the card.
And lastly, here is one more view of my card. Which Valentine's card in this series has been your favorite? For even more Valentine's Day card ideas and inspiration, be sure to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out what Karla and Rachel created this week. Happy stamping!!
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous week!

Debbie, I think this is, by far, the cutest cat stamp SU has come out with and I love the card designs you've come up with. Any cat lover would be delighted with the cards you've been making! I wish I knew some cat lovers to make cards for because it's so tempting to buy this set. Most people I know are dog lovers! :-(
