Check out this fun set of cards and matching notebook that I made featuring the Dainty Flowers DSP (a Sale-a-Bration selection with a qualifying $50 merchandise order) for the January 2023 Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!
This month on the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop we are featuring Sale-a-Bration products and I decided to make a set of quick and easy cards all featuring the beautiful designs from the Dainty Flowers DSP. These papers feature a color palette that is really pretty and coordinate with the Dainty Delight Bundle in the Spring mini catalog. In addition to the cards, I covered a composition notebook that I can use to keep track of birthday, anniversary and other important dates throughout the year as well as addresses for the people to whom I will be sending cards. I am making a concerted effort to send more cards to customers, co-workers, family and friends and this will help to keep me organized.
The products I used can be seen above. Be sure to click on an image above to visit my Stampin' Up! store to purchase.
Here is a close-up of my altered composition notebook. I always pick up tons of these at back-to-school time in the summer because they are so easy to cover and super cheap at that time of year. I covered the front with a piece of DSP and the back with a piece of card stock. The binder is covered with starry sky card stock that I misted with water and crinkled to give it the fun texture. That technique not only makes it pretty, but it is functional as well because it is easier to wrap around the notebook since the card stock is made more pliable when textured with this technique. Note - you'll want to make sure you cut it larger than you'll need as it tends to shrink. Also, flatten the card stock to dry completely before securing it with tear and tape adhesive to the notebook. Easy-peasey!
Here are a few of the quick and easy cards that I made. I used various designs from the pack and matched them up with crushed curry, old olive, rich razzleberry and starry sky card stock and ink along with the Biggest Wish and Peaceful Moments stamp sets. In this batch I used the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch as well on two cards.
Here is another batch of cards. I love how quickly these cards came together and now I have a great batch of cards ready to go for the next few months ready to mail to friends and family.
