Sunday Fun Day: Quick and easy hand-stamped gift

Hello and Happy Sunday! It is hard to believe that Christmas is just TWO WEEKS away!! This week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are sharing quick & easy hand-stamped gift ideas. Maybe I cheated a little, because technically I just bought the bottle of wine, but these hand-stamped bottle toppers give it just the right personal touch, am I right?

This shows the back side of the bottle topper - I added a little strip of the DSP and a sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set. Just add your name and a short sentiment and you're done!

Here is a view of the full topper. I wanted to show you how I made it... the dimensions can be found below. These are super easy to make and you can get two from a single sheet of card stock. Mix and match two sheets of card stock and you can use the punched out pieces as a mat (like I did with this one).

Dimensions and instructions:

Cut base card stock 11" x 3-1/8"
Score at 4-1/2" and 7-1/2" on the long side
Slide the decorative circle punch in the middle section and cut out the center - the sides of the punch should fit perfectly in between the score lines
Front flap DSP 4-1/4" x 2-7/8"
Back flap card stock 3-1/4" x 2-7/8"

The great thing about these toppers are that you can adjust the dimensions to accomodate the bottle and/or your punch for the center hole.

Here is another example of a topper using a different pattern from the DSP. These are fun and quick to make!
