Hello and Happy Sunday! This week we are CASE'ing past Sunday Fun Day projects with new products over on the Sisters in Stamping blog. For today's post I made 4 Christmas cards using a One Sheet Wonder featuring the Celebrate Everything DSP from the Holiday catalog. You may remember that I used this OSW template to make 4 Christmas cards back in this post.
Above is the set of 4 cards I made last year using this 6" x 6" One Sheet Wonder pattern. I changed it up a little with my four cards for today since the orientation of the paper is only one way and my stamp sets are different (for a complete list of products, see below).
If you would like to purchase any of the products used with today's project, please click the list above to hop over to my online Stampin' Up! store (don't forget to use Host Code WHFMJPED with your online order at checkout through October 30th).
Here is the card I made with the "A" pieces. I matted each with a 3-1/8" x 2-1/8" piece of Sweet Sorbet card stock and added the sentiment using words and bow image from the Christmas Scottie stamp set, and image and punch from the Handmade Wishes bundle. I colored in the lines around the punch using my Parakeet Party Light stampin' blends marker. For the inside of the card, I added a sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set.
For this card featuring the two "B" pieces, I used the longer strip for the outside and the shorter one for the inside. I decided to color the tree images on the DSP using my Parakeet Party stampin' blends. The sentiment and images and coordinating punch are from the Handmade Wishes bundle and the texture was added to the front of the card using the Fern 3D embossing folder. I know these are ferns, but they kind of look like pine tree needles to me.
This card features the "C" piece of DSP. I added a sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set and colored in the images using my Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet stampin' blend markers. For the inside, I used sentiments from the Handmade Wishes stamp set. Wondering where that ribbon came from? I took my Parakeet Party Light stampin' blend marker and colored the Black & White gingham ribbon. How fun that you can make this ribbon match any color scheme by coloring it!
For my last card featuring the four "D" pieces, I used sentiments from he Handmade Wishes stamp set and cut it out using the Lasting Label punch. For the inside of the card, I used a sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set. The little tree is from the Handmade Wishes set.
So which card is your favorite? I love the way these turned out and will be doing more One Sheet Wonder card sets. For even more throwback projects, please be sure to check out the Sisters in Stamping blog to see what Karla and Rachel created this week.
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous week!
