Hello and Happy Sunday! This week's Sunday Fun Day theme over on the Sisters in Stamping blog is mini scrapbooks. I'll be honest, I was a scrapbooker before I became a stamper, but it has been a long time since I've worked on any scrapbooking projects. I had a lot of fun with this project today and hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. Now I just have to print some photos to add to it!
The products I used with today's card are seen above. All three products are on the Last Chance list so if you want them, make sure to place your order ASAP! Click on photo above to hop over to my Stampin' Up! store to place an order. If ordering online, please be sure to use Host Code SGCN9HKF.
Here are photos of the pages that I created using the stamp set, DSP and card stock colors from the color palette of the DSP. The covers are old coasters that I had in my stash from a chain restaurant that measured 4" x 4". I covered the front and back with DSP pieces and then used my snips to round the corners. I then covered the inside pieces with balmy blue card stock. The inside pages are six sheets of 7-1/2" x 3-3/4" pieces of basic white card stock folded in half. I glued each half back to back with the folds at the top. It is much easier to embellish all your pages first, then attach the first and last pages to the covers (ask me how I know, ha ha). Once I had the covers attached I added an additional piece of card stock for the binding. Anyway, I had fun with this and hope you give it a try!
Here's one more look at my mini scrapbook. For even more scrapbook ideas and inspiration, don't forget to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out what Karla and Rachel created.
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous week!
