Here is my first card. I used the gorgeous monochromatic design featuring granny apple green. This pattern is almost tropical and I love it for a thinking of you card. I added a strip of the DSP on the inside of the card and stamped the foliage image after stamping off to lighten the ink color. For the card front I stamped the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and offset one of the images on the panel that I cut out using the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch.
For my second card, I used a piece of the Fresh Freesia pattern. I think this paper is so pretty! This is a clean and simple birthday card with just a sentiment stamped on a panel cut using the Tailored Tag punch and a few Rhinestone basic jewels. Again, I added a strip of the DSP to the inside panel. This is a good way to use up scraps and also a little touch that goes a long way toward making the inside as beautiful as the outside of the card.
This last card features a striped pattern and I paired it with a card base cut from Shaded Spruce card stock. I added a trip of Pool Party card stock and the punch is matted with a piece of Petal Pink card stock. I inked the sentiment with Shaded Spruce ink and stamped the bird image on a scrap piece of basic white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored it with Stampin' Blends (Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Shaded Spruce and Soft Suede), cut it out and then mounted it on the panel using stampin' dimensionals. I loved pulling in colors from the DSP to help me determine how to color my image.
Here's one more look at my card set featuring so many of the pretty patterns from this DSP. For last-minute Sale-a-Bration product ideas and projects, don't forget to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to see what Karla and Rachel created.
