Hi there and welcome to the January 2022 Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! This month we are sharing projects featuring NEW products - we have so much to choose from with the debut of the new January-June mini catalog AND the start of our Spring Sale-a-Bration promotion last week! I decided to make a card set with the Friendly Hello bundle, which is a Sale-a-Bration selection when you purchase $100 in product. It has a stamp set and coordinating DSP pack. I wanted to show you some of the beautiful patterns so kept my cards super clean and simple.
Check out that awesome SAB Friendly Hello bundle! It has a stamp set and coordinating DSP pack. I wanted to show you some of the beautiful patterns, so featured big pieces on my simple cards. I used the colors in the DSP for my card color palette: fresh freesia, granny apple green, petal pink, pool party and shaded spruce along with basic white and basic black. The full product list for my card set is above. Be sure to click on any of the images above to visit my Stampin' Up! store to purchase.
Here is the first card - the DSP pattern is so pretty so I kept the sentiment very minimal. Wondering how I got the white strip? I used my paper trimmer with a cutout from the Everyday Label punch to cut it like this in the photo above. The stamp set is photopolymer, so it is very easy to see where you're stamping and it lined up perfectly. That strip fit nicely with the Pool Party mat cut using the Label Me Lovely punch. The inside of the card has the smaller flower image stamped inside with pool party ink.
For this monochromatic card featuring this beautiful granny apple green leaf pattern, I used a a piece cut out using the Tasteful Labels dies and stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo black ink and a similar foliage image from the DSP using granny apple green ink. I used the same foliage image on the inside of the card as well.
For this card, I decided to add some color rather than going with another monochromatic card. The bird image was stamped with pool party ink and then I used a blender pen and petal pink ink pad to dot color in the flower centers to pull in the petal pink card base. The sentiment was stamped with tuxedo black ink.
Here is the last card - this one features a striped pattern featuring all of the colors. I wanted to use the bold Friendly Hello sentiment and thought it looked good with shaded spruce ink. I added the smaller flower in the lower left area of the diecut, stamped with granny apple green ink. I then stamped it again using fresh freesia ink on a scrap piece which I fussy cut and then added with a dimensional on top.
So what do you think, isn't this Sale-a-Bration bundle a must-have? For even more must-have inspiration, please be sure to check out the other blogs using the links below.
