Hello and Happy Sunday! For this week's Sunday Fun Day theme over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are sharing projects featuring Sale-a-Bration (SAB) items since we are in that promotion period once again through the end of September!! I designed this trio of clean and simple (CAS) cards that feature several different patterns of DSP from the Beautifully Penned pack.
During the period August 3 - September 30th you can earn these exclusive Sale-a-Bration products for FREE with a qualifying $50+ and $100+ merchandise order during the months of August and September. Want to see all of the products available? Be sure to check them out here in my Stampin' Up! store.
These cards feature the gorgeous patterns of the Beautifully Penned DSP, which is an exclusive Sale-a-Bration selection that you can only earn for free with a qualifying $50 purchase. I paired it with the Free as a Bird stamp set found in the Annual Catalog and the Stitched so Sweetly dies.
This first card features the gorgeous DSP pattern without any alteration. I love how gorgeous the images are and wanted to let them shine. I added a sentiment from the stamp set along with a sprig of leaves that mimic the foliage in the DSP. I colored it with old olive and soft suede stampin' blends markers, then cut out and mounted it to the die cut.
For my second card, I wanted the leaves to pop on the patterned DSP, so used a blending brush to add the old olive ink all over the DSP piece. I colored the bird image with daffodil delight, pumpkin pie, old olive and smoky slate stampin' blends markers. I wanted it to look like the pretty goldfinches in my yard. It, too, was fussy cut and added to the die.
For this last card I colored the DSP piece with daffodil delight, pumpkin pie, old olive and pool party stampin' blends markers. Since the DSP was so pretty, I added a simple sentiment only.
Here is one last look at my cards. I hope I have inspired you with the variety of ways you can use this gorgeous DSP available exclusively during our Fall Sale-a-Bration promotion. Don't forget to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog for even more SAB card ideas and inspiration.
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous week!
