Hello and happy Sunday!! This week for Sunday Fun Day over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are sharing projects featuring Sale-a-Bration products since this fabulous promotion is ending at the end of the month. You've only got a few more weeks to earn these exclusive items for FREE with a qualifying $50 (Level 1) or $100 (Level 2) order.
I decided to use the Berry Blessings bundle that is a Level 2 Sale-a-Bration item - earn it for free with a qualifying $100 merchandise order. This coordinates with the Sweet Strawberry bundle in the January-June catalog on page 44. I really love this DSP - the colors are really bright and cheerful!
I decided to use the DSP pattern with the blackberries (or are they black raspberries?) and pulled all of my colors from it: blackberry bliss, garden gree, rich razzleberry and shaded spruce. This card is much brighter in real life.
The sentiment is on an oval diecut from the Stitched Shapes dies and I added just a bit of texture to the card with a bow tied out of braided linen trim. I stamped the berry and leaf/stem separately and then fussy cut them and added it with a dimensional on the stamped oval diecut. It is really hard to tell in the photos, but that is blackberry bliss card stock that I used for the mat and cardstock strip down the center of the card.
Here is another view of this card. I really like how it turned out - clean and simple, but pretty. Don't forget to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out what my fellow designers created for more card ideas and inspriation from the Sale-a-Bration selections.
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous week!
