Hello and happy Sunday!! Welcome back for another Sunday Fun Day over on the Sisters in Stamping blog. This week we were tasked with creating birthday cards. I haven't used the Playful Pets suite from the Annual catalog in a while, so pulled out the DSP and stamp set to create my card. I wanted to make a birthday card that could be given to anyone, and this stamp set and DSP are perfect for that!
Whenever I need some card inspiration, I turn to Pinterest. I have a Card Sketches board there and today's card is based on the sketch above, from the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge (see it here).
The Playful Pets product suite is really great - the images are fun and are perfect for cat and dog lovers!! Best of all, if you order the products used for today's project before February 28th, you can qualify for either two Level 1 or one Level 2 Sale-a-Bration items.
Here's another view of my card, I love this pup image! I could have stamped and colored it as this is one of the images in the stamp set, but decided to cut the image from the DSP that was already colored. Easy-peasey!
Here's another shot of the pup image. It makes me smile - so cute! I cut it out and mounted it on the stamped panel with dimensionals.
For the inside of the card, I didn't get my sentiment centered on the card when I stamped it, so added a thin strip of real red card stock to make it look like I meant to place it there. No one will ever know!
Here is one last view of my birthday card. For even more great birthday card ideas and inspiration, please be sure to hop on over to the Sisters in Stamping blog.
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous week!
