April 2020 Stampers Dozen Blog Hop: Spring Has Sprung

Hi there and welcome to the April 2020 Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! This month we are sharing projects that celebrate Spring! Does it feel like Spring where you are? It definitely looks and feels like it here in Central Virginia... the grass is green, the trees are full of green leaves, the birds are singing and flowers are blooming everywhere so naturally we are seeing lots of butterflies and bees. I couldn't decide on a color palette so made two samples - which do you like better?

For my project this month I chose to use the Positive Thoughts stamp set from the Spring catalog. This is the first time that I have used it and really love the images in this set.

This was the first version that I made - it features the color combination of crushed curry, gorgeous grape, melon mambo and old olive. The colors are bright and make me happy but are they more summer-y?

And here is version number two featuring the color combination of daffodil delight, flirty flamingo, granny apple green and grapefruit grove. These more pastel-like colors do remind me of spring.
