March 2020 Stampers Dozen Blog Hop: Final Days of Sale-a-Bration

Happy Birthday to You Sale-a-Bration stamp set

I chose to once again use the Lily Impressions DSP that I LOVE along with the Happy Birthday to You stamp set to make my birthday card. You can see other projects I have made with these products here, here and here.

I apologize for the terrible photos - taking photos at night is not the best. I wish you could see how bright and cheerful this card is in real life.

Here is a close-up of the stamped panel on the card front. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the flowers with several Stampin' Blend markers: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Pumpkin Pie. To "color" my cake I used the clear Wink of Stella glimmer brush - I darkened the photo so you could see it. If you're wondering where the cake stand came from I had preordered the coordinating Birthday Dies but sadly they have sold out. That is also how I cut out the cake image and flowers. These were mounted on top of a whisper white panel cut with the Stitched Rectangles dies. The orange strip of DSP is actually on the reverse of the larger piece at the bottom of the card.

As you can see, I stamped the inside of the card with the birthday sentiment and then added a strip of the DSP at the bottom.
