February 2020 Stampers Dozen Blog Hop: Showing and Sharing Love

Hi there and Happy Valentine's Day! Welcome to the February 2020 Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! This month we are sharing projects that feature a love theme in honor of Valentine's Day. I chose to once again use the Heart to Heart stamp set that I used in my Fabulous Friday post earlier. This time I chose a completely different color palette - which do you like better?

This color palette includes crumb cake, granny apple green, melon mambo and whisper white. I love how fun these colors are - reminds me of the 80's! I kept my card design super clean and simple and strictly paper and ink.

Here is a close-up of the stamped panel on the card front. I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink since this is a photopolymer stamp set, then inked up the heart image with granny apple green and melon mambo stampin' write markers and centered it above. Next, I cut it out of the whisper white card stock using the Label Me Lovely punch. Both the punch and stamp set can be found in the Jan-June mini catalog. To make the punch pop off the whisper white background, I cut another one out of crumb cake card stock and then cut it in half and glued it to the back. This was popped off the card front with stampin' dimensionals.

As you can see, I stamped the inside of the card the same way that I did with my Fabulous Friday card. The change in colors really makes a difference, doesn't it?!
