Fabulous Friday: Heart to Heart Valentine's Day card

Hello and Happy Friday! In honor of Valentine's Day, Karla asked us to share ideas for this heart-filled holiday for our Fabulous Friday projects over on the Sisters in Stamping blog. I decided to use the Support Ribbon framelits once again (did you see last week's card?) for my ombre heart card along with the Heart to Heart stamp set from the Jan-June mini catalog and the Swirls and Curls embossing folder.

This Heart to Heart stamp set can be found on page 12 of the Jan-Jun mini catalog and can be used for Weddings as well as Valentine's Day which I found to make it much more versatile! I also love the floral images in the set which is perfect for Spring cards.

It is so hard to photograph early espresso card stock - believe it or not that is the color of the embossed piece on the card front. My ombre hearts were cut from whisper white, blushing bride, melon mambo and lovely lipstick card stock.

I stamped the sentiment on the front of the card with early espresso (stamped off once), melon mambo and blushing bride ink. I fussy cut the little blushing bride flower and added it to the panel using a stampin' dimensional.

For the inside of the card I once again used early espresso and melon mambo ink - the sentiment was perfect and the flower images are just so pretty, don't you think?
