Hi there and welcome to the May 2019 Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! This month we are featuring the Last Chance products (see them all here) that are being retired at the end of this month to make way for the all new Annual catalog that debuts on June 1st. I decided to use the Pretty Kitty stamp set along with the Happiness Blooms DSP and 1-3/4" circle punch which are sadly all retiring.
If you think this card layout seems familiar, I used it a while back for a Fabulous Friday card (see that post here). I love how it showcases the DSP! This Happiness Blooms DSP from the Occasions catalog is so bright and cheery - I featured it on a Fabulous Friday card back in January (see that blog post here). It includes a few of the 2018-2020 In Colors that are so fun - Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick.
Check out this fun little kitty - I am allergic to cats so am not really familiar with their fur markings but hope my coloring is okay (don't want to offend any cat lovers, especially my sister Cindy). I used the two soft suede Stampin' Blends markers to color the kitty and then my Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Write marker for the bow. I will really miss the 1-3/4" circle punch, it's a great size for layering with the 2" circle punch for an easy focal element for a card. I also cut out the smaller flowers from a different sheet of the DSP to pop up by the sentiment. It adds a nice little touch and was super easy.
I took a narrow strip of the DSP and put it inside the card, adds a nice touch don't you think? In the second photo you can see it peeking out from inside the card.
Here is one more view of my card - I really love how this turned out and will be sad to see these Last Chance products retiring at the end of the month. Be sure to check out the rest of the projects on the Hop by using the links below.

You may find this kinda funny, but, I don't know how to make this style of front for my cards. Would you please share with me, How to ciut my DSP for this style of card? Thank you!

Gloria, the pineapple punch base card is 11" x 4-1/4", the lovely lipstick mat is 5-1/4" x 4", the whisper white panel (stamped on) is 5" x 3-3/4" and the DSP is cut to 4-3/4" x 3-1/2". I cut it right in the middle on the long side at 1-3/4" about 2" into the DSP. I then folded those corners back and secured them with stampin' dimensionals. Hope that helps!!
