So sorry - Friday got away from me and I neglected to finish my post.
Hello and Happy Friday! This week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we were tasked with creating projects that showcased Spring - flowers, colors, etc. I chose to use the Beautiful Day stamp set and made another bridge card (see the one I made last month here for directions). I am still not completely comfortable using the Stampin' Blends but love how this large flower turned out on my card.
Here is a close-up of the large flower that I fussy cut using my Paper Snips. I used Daffodil Delight for the center, Old Olive for the leaf and Rich Razzleberry for the flower petals.
Here is how the card folds flat for mailing - isn't it great that it is a 3D card when opened up! I purposely left the middle panel blank so I could personalize it however I need it when I am ready to send this card. The Always Thinking of You sentiment works great for birthday, sympathy or even just a thinking of you card.
