Hello and Happy Friday! This week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are featuring masculine projects - often these are the hardest kind to create, don't you think? I decided to keep mine super simple with just a little bit of braided linen trim for added texture and simple stamping. The color combination is early espresso, sahara sand, tranquil tide and very vanilla.
Here is another view of the card - I really love this weather vane image! And I'm not real sure what the foliage is - wheat maybe?
Here is a close-up of the sentiment panel - I cut it out using the Everyday Label punch and the knot of braided linen trim gives great texture to the card, especially after I unraveled the ends just a bit.
And here is what I did on the inside - a simple birthday sentiment stamped with early espresso ink and then the star behind it with sahara sand ink leaving you plenty of room to write a nice message to the recipient.
Here is one last view of my card. I love how this stamp set lends itself so well for a masculine card. For even more fabulous masculine project ideas and inspiration, please hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to see what my fellow designers created this week.
