Happy Friday and thanks so much for checking in today! This week we are featuring the theme of "cards for a friend" for our Fabulous Friday projects over over on the Sisters in Stamping blog. Because let's be honest, what would we do without our friends? Let's show them some love and shower them with hand-stamped cards!!
My card features a monochromatic look using the new In Color Grapefruit Grove. I used a piece of the DSP from the In Color DSP stack. Since it is double-sided it was perfect for this layout. I added a few leaves of garden green card stock and a flower cut from the Healing Hugs stamp set that I cut out using my paper snips.
I also added touches of the clear Wink of Stella to my flower - can you see it in the photo above? It's very shimmery in real life! Between the flower layer and the leaves I added some gold thread.
Not forgetting the inside of the card I added a sentiment and part of the flower in the bottom corner.
