Happy Friday Saturday!! This week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are sharing Christmas tag designs. Isn't it great when you can jazz up a simply wrapped gift with a hand-stamped tag? I used the Tin of Tags stamp set that is available in the Holiday catalog. It is paired with a tag set, but you can certainly use this set with your own card stock, ink and DSP to make a variety of different tags!

I chose to use the This Christmas specialty DSP and pulled my colors from there: cherry cobbler, garden green and very vanilla. I also used the Baker's Twine trio pack from the Holiday catalog which coordinated perfectly. I cut out my tag shapes using the Big Shot and Tags & Labels thinlits... easy-peasey. Because the stamps from the Tin of Tags set are photopolymer it was really easy to line up my stamps on the die cut card stock. Don't forget to stamp a To/From piece for the backs of your tags!!

Here's one more view of my tags. I created a "bag" to hold the dozen tags I made by cutting the top off a clear envelope, creating a pocket. I attached that to a piece of basic black card stock using tear & tape adhesive (because it is clear) and decorated the flap with some DSP. The whole thing is held closed with gold twine from the trio pack. For even more Christmas tag ideas please be sure to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out what the other designers created this week.
