Happy Friday! Time flies, doesn't it?! How did it get to be April 1st already?! Seems like just yesterday we were getting ready for Valentine's Day. Today is commonly celebrated as April Fool's Day in the U.S., but today's project is no trick. Karla asked us to share thank you card ideas for Fabulous Friday over on the Sisters in Stamping blog and I've got a super quick and easy card layout featuring DSP that you're going to love! I used it on all three of my cards and they came together soooo quickly! The fun DSP is from the A Cherry on Top DSP stack found in the Annual catalog (one of my favorites!) and the sentiment is from the Sassy Salutations stamp set. I also used my Flower Medallion, Decorative Label and Flower from the Itty Bitty Accent punches.
Here are close-up pictures of each of the cards. So simple, and changing out the base card color and DSP changes the feel of each one. To recreate this layout, cut the layers as follows: base card 11" x 4-1/4"; DSP layer 5-1/4" x 4"; whisper white layer 5" x 3-3/4"; and DSP strip is 3-3/4" x 3/4". This is a simple layout that would be great to use in a set of cards to give someone as a gift.
