Happy Good Friday! Are you ready for the Easter weekend? I'm excited to be taking next week off to do a road trip with my daughter Kelsey to visit family in Chicago. We've never been there so it will be a great week of exploring the windy city!! And now on to my Fabulous Friday project... this week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are focusing on numbers as the theme for our projects. I decided to get ahead of the game and make a 25th anniversary card that I'll give to my husband in July. It's hard to believe we've been married that long!
I kept my colors simple - whisper white, smoky slate and basic gray - and relied heavily on my Big Shot to cut out the Bloomin' heart thinlit, numbers and add the striped texture. On the inside of the card I stamped Happy Anniversary using the Number of Years stamp set from the Occasions catalog (I purchased in a bundle with the thinlits and saved 15%!).
Here's one more view of my project... I love the simplicity of this card and hope my husband appreciates it in July when I give it to him. I just hope I don't misplace it before that time!! For even more number-themed ideas and inspiration, please be sure to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out what the other designers created.
