Happy Friday and thanks so much for visiting me today! This week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog our Fabulous Friday projects are featuring the exclusive Sale-a-Bration products that you can earn for FREE with a qualifying $50 order now through March 31st. I chose to feature the Lotus Blossom stamp set - I chose the photopolymer option which makes this three-step stamping a BREEZE! And I pulled out my trusty Big Shot to cut the focal panel using the Window Frames collection framelits to cut the naturals white card stock. And check out how a square of garden green behind it really sets it off without overpowering it with color. I love this two layer look.
The colors I chose to use are rose red (full strength for layer #3 and stamped off once for layer #2) and pink pirouette along with garden green. (I would like to add that although Stampin' Up! suggests you start with the detail stamp first when using the photopolymer, I still prefer to do it the old way and do my solid image first with the lightest color and work my way up to the detail stamp) This color combination really reminds me of the 80's, how about you?! Did you rock the pink and kelly green back in the day?
Please be sure to hop on over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to get more Sale-a-Bration inspiration from Karla and Rachel. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend!
