My friend Jettie needed a wedding card for a Halloween-themed wedding she will be attending... not exactly an easy card to come up with! So I decided to help her out and create some owl punch art that I found on Pinterest (see that pin here) and tweaked my Halloween card from earlier this month (see that one here). The above is my end result... I really like how it turned out! Since the current Halloween paper, Motley Monsters, is sort of juvenile I turned to some retired DSP - Wicked Fun specialty paper - that I still had in my stash.
Here are some close-ups of the owl punch art... pretty cute! The bride's veil is made using the retired round tab punch and the rest is from the owl punch.
Thanks for visiting and have a great rest of your weekend!! I'm off to frost my daughter Amanda's red velvet cake... it was her 17th birthday on Wednesday and we are celebrating it tonight since my husband was out of town on business. Until next time, happy stamping!!
