At my team meeting last weekend we started chatting about color and I shared that I often feel like I get into a color rut. My downline Gaylyn Pantana, who is awesome with color, started throwing out a variety of color combinations and it gave me the idea to start a monthly color challenge to inspire us on our team Facebook group. My team name is the SU! Little Debbies so our monthly challenge will be known as the SULD Color Challenge. I thought it would be fun to share those cards here on my blog, too, at the end of each month. So with only a week to create, I challenged my team with Gaylyn's palette for August.
I created the card above which features the Bordering Blooms and Love & Sympathy stamp sets. I wanted the look of designer paper and using the photopolymer stamps from the Bordering Blooms made it so easy (also seen in yesterday's card here).
Here is the card that Kathy Kennedy created, featuring the Holiday Home photopolymer bundle from the Holiday catalog. What a great fall card.
And this is Angie Kinzie's creation featuring the Beautiful Bunch stamp set and coordinating Fun Flower punch. It's a bright summery card.
I love how different all these cards look even though they have the same color palette. Stay tuned for our next color challenge which I'll be sharing tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by today and allowing me to share.
