Happy Friday! I'm back! Thanks for hanging in there with me and
sorry for being away from my blog for so long. I am still getting
adjusted to working and finding time (and energy) to stamp. On
Wednesday night I found my long-lost mojo!! I can't even tell you how
good it felt to be down in my stamping studio creating my card candy
swaps for my team get-together last night until 2 in the morning
(yikes!). I was exhausted all day at work yesterday but it was soooooo
worth it! Have you been away from your stamps for a while? Please make time
to sit down and stamp... it really is like therapy!! Okay, enough about
that and on to the reason for today's post - it's Friday and that means
it's time to share a Fabulous Friday project for the Sisters in Stamping blog.
This week Rachel chose the new line of Photopolymer stamps by Stampin' Up! to feature in our projects and I chose to use the "Another Thank You" set. I find myself making a lot of Thank You cards and absolutely LOVE this set!! Priced at just $13.95, this set is a BARGAIN!! I recently discovered this fun file folder card and used the new Envelope Punch Board to create it. I created this card as the make-n-take at my team meeting last night and will share with you some of the different takes on it that some of my downline came up with at the end of this blog post.
My card today showcases not only the Another Thank you stamp set, but also the Magnificent Maple stamp from the Holiday catalog along with the Sweater Weather designer paper from which I pulled my color scheme of sahara sand, chocolate chip, crushed curry and tangerine tango. I shared the thumping technique to color my leaf and finished with a knot of whisper white organza ribbon.

So have you checked out the Photopolymer line of stamps now being offered? You can find them all here... and the beauty of these stamps is that you can see where you're placing your image so they're perfect for sentiments! For even more inspiration using these stamps, be sure to hop on over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out the Fabulous Friday projects submitted by Karla and Rachel.
And to see some other spins on my card above, check out what Angie, Wendy and Jennifer made...

Angie Kinzie's card is rotated to open with the fold at the top so she could include the sentiment on the tab. Love it!

Wendy Boothe's card features the sentiment in the tab of the folder - clever!

Jennifer Rawlings added texture to her stamped leaf panel along with the sentiment in the tab. Great idea!
As you can see, these file folder cards are a lot of fun and you can really change them up easily. Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend! They're calling for more fall-like temperatures here in Virginia which makes me happy. It's a great time to start thinking about and working on my Holiday projects.
