Happy Friday! Do you have that song from The Sound of Music playing in your head now? I know I do! This week on the Sisters in Stamping blog we created Fabulous Friday projects featuring some of our favorite new products introduced by Stampin' Up! over the last month... that includes items in the new Holiday catalog and many new products introduced since our Stampin' Up! convention last month. My card is a fun interactive flip-flop card that I created using the new Label Card Thinlits frame for the Big Shot. I always wanted to know how to make these cards but it seemed so difficult... not so any more with the help of my handy-dandy Big Shot and this awesome new die!
Here is a photo of the inside of the card - fun, right?! Did you notice that the cut-out of the "hi" on the outside panel was cut from the inside piece on the label? I used a piece of designer paper from the Sweater Weather pack from the Holiday catalog. The ice cream cone is made from the Pennant Parade stamp set (cone) and Cupcake Builder punch. I also used the "hello" and asterisk images from the Pennant Parade stamp set on the front panel to create my background. My color scheme for this card includes baked brown sugar, very vanilla, crushed curry, pistachio pudding and strawberry slush (don't these new In Colors just make you hungry?!)
Do you see all the other great shapes you can cut with this Thinlit set besides the"Hi" and label? Awesome, right?! This will be perfect for my Valentine's Day cards and for my family plus I love all the pop-up banners you can cut that are already scored for you when it is run through the Big Shot. Check out this short video showing you even more ideas!

I hope you give these fun new Card Thinlit dies a try with your Big Shot! As you can see from the video, they are a lot of fun and easy to make. I know you'll soon find that this makes your "favorite things" list, too! For even more inspiration with great new products, please be sure to visit the Sisters in Stamping blog after Noon EST today. Have a fabulous long (and safe) Labor Day weekend!!!
