A while back I came up with an Angry Birds card because my son loves that game... this week I decided to come up with a project involving Domo - a Japanese character that my daughter Kelsey loves. This is a mini notebook that she can throw in her school backpack or purse. Check out the giant Domo pillow she got my Mom to make her based on her little stuffed character (sorry for the blurry photo - it was taken with my phone)...
This Domo duct tape folder that I pinned on Pinterest is the inspiration for my project this week - not only does Kelsey love Domo, but she is a Duct Tape fanatic!!
In order to make my project with Stampin' Up! products I decided to make a mini notebook - it was soooo easy to put together, from start to finish I think it took maybe 15 minutes and that is only because I was photographing the steps to share with you!! I chose soft suede, real red, basic black and whisper white card stock and a small spiral-bound mini notebook that I picked up at the $ store.
Here are the supplies and dimensions, the photos follow...
Notebook - soft suede card stock, 5" x 3"
Mouth - real red card stock, 2" x 1"
Teeth - whisper white card stock, 1/2" squares cut in half
diagonally
Eyes - basic black card stock, 3/4" circle punch
3/16" corner rounder punch and Crop-a-Dile used to finish
off the cover
Adhesives - SNAIL and Tombow multipurpose Adhesive
Craft & Rubber scissors used to bend the wire
UniBall white Signo gel pen used for highlights in eyes
