Did you know that there is less than one month left to purchase all those wish list items that you have from the Occasions mini catalog? It will be ending on April 30th, so be sure and book a workshop or place an order with me to get everything you want before they're no longer available for purchase. Have you seen the Hugs and Kisses die-cut notecards in the Mini? I bet you may have overlooked these little gems found on page 19... well fear not - I am here to show you how fun and easy these are to use!
Above you will see both of these products along with their item numbers.. be sure and pick some up before the end of the month! These are the featured products this week on the Sisters in Stamping blog for Fabulous Friday.
I decided to create a birthday card with matching gift bag and tag this week - you can never have enough of them, can you? I chose a stamp set that I haven't used in a while but absolutely love - Great Friend - it can be found on page 107 of the Idea Book & Catalog. The colors used are all retiring at the end of June and I wanted to use them while I still can - this is a favorite color combination of mine: ballet blue, barely banana, gable green and close to cocoa. If you like the combo, please be sure and pick up these colors before they're gone! Stampin' Up! is guaranteeing availability of these colors through the end of May, but they will be on a limited availability during June and will likely sell out - don't miss your opportunity to get them while you can! You will find more details about the Color Renovation in my blog posting here including the complete list of colors that will be saying farewell at the end of June.
Here is a close-up of the Hugs die-cut notecard - I used it as a focal panel on my card. I must admit that I got a sneak peek at my fellow "Sister" Rachel Yurakanin's card for this week and loved hers so much I CASE'd it for mine (thanks, Rachel!!).
This is how I used the Kisses die-cut notecard - as a tag for the gift bag. That idea came from a conversation I had yesterday with my real-life sister Cindy Blekas (also a demonstrator) - thanks, Sis! She used it on her swap this month for our team swap and I LOVED it so much I ordered them. See, we enable and inspire each other, too!! You can see her card here since I haven't had a chance to photograph and post the swaps yet (stay tuned... they'll be coming in the next few days!).
Thanks for stopping by - I hope you click on over to the Sisters in Stamping blog today after Noon EST and check out the other Fabulous Friday projects submitted this week!
Here are the products used on today's project (brown kraft bag picked up at a $ store) - please contact me if you'd like to place an order or book a workshop to earn some of them for FREE!! Please note that the Well-Scripted stamp set is found in the Occasions mini catalog, so will no longer be available after the end of this month... it's a great all-around sentiment set to add to your collection. Also, the 5/8" wide grosgrain ribbon that I used is very vanilla - it was close enough to match up with the barely banana since we don't have it in that color.
Thanks for stopping by - have a Fabulous Friday!!!!
Wow, I love how this turned out. I could kind of picture it in my head when we talked, but it turned out really great! You can hold on to this and give it to me for my birthday in November :) I love that set you used too! I'm going to have to CASE this project - love it!
