The Mom & Me class earlier this month focused on the Halloween stamp set House of Haunts. The 3 class projects all included this awesome set! Attendees used their own sets, which were preordered, and took them home in time to make a lot more Halloween projects.
Here are the 3 projects: a card, favor treat box and scrapbook page. The card features the Big Shot exclusive Top Note die (I LOVE it!!) as well as the Arachnophobia wheel. I used a scallop circle punch to form the clouds with a stampin' sponge. The colors sponged on were bordering blue, not quite navy and basic black. The faux stitching on the top note die was done with the white uni-ball signo gel pen. The owl's eyes were colored in with a pumpkin pie stampin' write marker to match the pumpkin pie background of the card. The Frankenstien box was created with green galore cardstock and lovely lilac for his hair. It took a lot of different punches to make him: circle punches were used to create his eyes & eyelids (1-3/8", 1-1/4", 1"), nose (small oval) and neck bolts (round tab). The mouth was drawn in and the hair was created with the paper snips. The 12" x 12" scrapbook layout featured the new Ghostly Greetings DSP and I pulled the colors from that paper: basic gray, pumpkin pie, kiwi kiss and basic black. I love the new jumbo wheel Haunting that was also used for the layout. Thanks for looking!
