Oh my goodness! What a whirlwind this past week has been... I so enjoyed my time at the Stampin' Up! 25th Anniversary Convention in Salt Lake City last week with over 5,800 other demonstrators from the U.S., Canada and even Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., France and Germany!! Things have been just as busy at home and I apologize for my absence. So here we go, getting back in the swing of things with a blog post showing some highlights from my trip.
I am so excited to share that I was one of only 25 GRAND PRIZE winners at Convention - I had the lucky "crushed curry" color band and won EVERY SINGLE STAMP SET in the Seasonal catalog!! Can you believe it?! I never win anything! Here I am holding up the special numbered card (#19) I received that I had to show at the prize booth to claim my stamp sets. Sitting just a row away was Angie of Stamping Addicts who was also a Crushed Curry winner. We were on the same flights from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas to Raleigh so we snapped a photo together in the Vegas airport.
I was fortunate enough to be able to spend time with four of my team members: Jennifer Rawlings - my roommate, Gaylyn Pantana, Kari Vertican and Georgia Vertican. Here we are during the Opening Session just after receiving our amazing Convention backpacks and below at our farewell dinner at Texas de Brazil - an amazing meat-filled meal!
Both Gaylyn and Kari submitted projects for the Artisan Award contest and although they did not win, they had many of their projects featured in the display area - I was so proud of both of them!!
In addition to time spent with my downline, I also always enjoy catching up with demonstrator friends from all over the U.S. and Canada..
I took this photo with my NC friend Martha Armstrong whom I met a few years ago at Founder's Circle.
I was thrilled to finally meet my Business Development Advisor Ashley Christensen in person... she has been an oustanding coach for me and my Stampin' Up! business for the last two years! I really look forward to our chats every two weeks, even if she gets me to try new things like making video tutorials which are way outside of my comfort zone. But whoever said growth would be easy, right?!
As you can tell, I had a BLAST at this event and hope to attend Convention again in the future. If you'd like to join my team of demonstrators and go to events like these, contact me and I will be happy to share the opportunity with you!
Thanks for stopping by - look for a new Quick & Easy card video tutorial tomorrow.
