If you haven't heard the news, Stampin' Up! released a new annual catalog last month and it not only shows all of the awesome products that we have but it is also a great idea book and resource for crafting. Each stamp set has at least one sample designed by an amazing team of artists and there are a variety of color combinations, layout ideas and even 3D projects that you can CASE (a stamper's term for copy and share everything). I chose that as our theme for Fabulous Friday this week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog. So are you ready to see my creation?
Here is my card featuring the new Wood Textures and Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stacks. I also used the Watercolor Wings stamp set with coordinating Bold Butterfly framelits. The only other thinlit I used was for the leaf which is from Rose Garden set. I love using In Color dapper denim with pool party and this color combo goes great with old olive and early espresso!
And can you guess which card I CASE'd? I'll give you a hint, it is a sample card for the Delightful Daisy Suite. Okay, I'll tell you... it's from page 126.
Here's another view of my card from the side. For even more catalog card CASE inspiration please be sure to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out what the other designers created this week.
* Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend! *
