Sorry for the delay in publishing this post from Friday... it's been a busy week. Anyway, Happy Sunday and enjoy!!
Last week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog I asked everyone to design projects featuring my favorite color GREEN in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
My card started out as a four-leaf clover punch art for St. Patrick's Day, but I wasn't happy with how it turned out so those leaves became the bottom layer of my paper flower. I really like the way that turned out and love that just a few punches, whisper white card stock, some stampin' dimensionals and my bone folder made it come together pretty easily.
Here's a side view of my flower - it shows how dimensional this flower turned out... certainly not a card to mail, but hand-delliver. I used three punches to pull it together: Flower Medallion (bottom layer), Pansy (middle layer) and Petite Petals (top layer). Each layer had 2 flowers and I curled all edges up using my bone folder. Easy-peasy!
Here's another view of my card. For even more GREEN inspiration please be sure to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out what the other designers created this week.
